Aram Shah : ウィキペディア英語版
Aram Shah
Aram Shah (probably reigned 1210–1211) was the second sultan of the Mamluk Sultanate (Slave Dynasty).
==Origins==
The relationship of Aram with Qutb-ud-din Aibak (1206–1210) is a subject of controversy.〔Peter Jackson, ''The Delhi Sultanate: A Political and Military History'', (Cambridge University Press, 1999), 29.〕〔C.E. Bosworth, ''The New Islamic Dynasties'', (Columbia University Press, 1996), 300.〕 According to some, he was Aibak's son, but Minhaj-i-Siraj distinctly writes that Qutb-ud-din only had three daughters. Abul Fazl has made the "astonishing statement" that he was the Sultan's brother. A modern writer has hazarded the opinion that "he was no relation of Qutub-ud-din" but was selected as his successor as he was available on the spot.
